Quilter's Threads is owned by Diane Harman-Hoog and her husband Carl Hoog. 

Diane has been sewing for 60 years and quilting for 24 years. Her mother was an excellent seamstress and her grandmothers and great grandmother were quilters. Diane loves to do all kinds of quilting. Her favorite part of the quilting process is machine quilting and machine free motion appliqué with the wonderful threads you see stocked on this site. Her quilts can  be seen at http://www.buffalums.com. It is called buffalums because both Diane and Carl have MBAs from the University of Colorado where the mascot is the buffalo, Ralphie. This is where we met. Diane has 4 grown children and 10 grandchildren. Also known as "Grandma Diane", so we could have called ourselves "Grandma's Threads".

Diane and Carl also share a passion for dogs and have three retrievers (a Golden, a Chesapeake Bay and a blind Yellow Lab cross). We also have a new to us 5 year old tuxedo cat named Oliver.
